Fulda was another great city that we had not originally planned on visiting. First established as a Benedictine
monastery in 744, it has a long religious and political history. The Schloss (castle) was completed in 1730, and
the formal garden on the north side was very beautiful. Be sure to climb the castle tower and enjoy the view!
